Meet Our Team

Rev. David Schlieter has been an ordained United Church of Christ pastor for the past 20 years. He pastored two small rural congregations in Wisconsin and was active at the association level and the conference level sitting on several committees through the years. He was also involved ecumenically and served the community as chaplain and fire fighter for the Silver Creek Fire Department. 

Francie Young has been the Administrative Assistant for the church for more than three years.  She is a valuable resource for the officers and members of the church.

Erik Sagel is the Water Distribution Superintendent for the City of Fort Morgan and also serves as a volunteer fireman for the city.  He is married to Dana and has two children,  Kayley and Conner.

Bob Sagel is a native of Fort Morgan and he was baptized, confirmed and married at Christ Congregational Church, which makes him the church member with the most Sunday’s in attendance! Bob has served Morgan County as Treasurer for 40 years. He has two adult sons, Erik & Mark, and 4 lively grandchildren.
